James Bucheister MS, CPA
From the beginning, I wanted to bring the integrity of the scientific and CPA world into the financial planning world. When we say clients come first, we mean it. Every aspect of our firm makes this promise a priority. From client communications to one-on-one contact, we promote and support only options in the best interest of the client.
James Bucheister, MS, CPA, is a distinguished advisor and shareholder at NCAM Wealth Advisors. Graduating Phi Beta Kappa and holding degrees from UC Berkeley and UCLA in electrical and systems engineering, respectively, he earned his CPA certification at Price Waterhouse. With a multifaceted career, he has consulted for Transamerica Corporation, held a Vice-President role at Wells Fargo Bank, and served as an independent CPA for over 20 years, particularly dedicated to small businesses.
An accomplished author, James penned "Tax Planning for the One-Person Business," aiding independent business owners in achieving financial success. His recent work, "The Armchair Investor," educates on the significance of academic research in building and safeguarding wealth.
Beyond his professional pursuits, James finds joy in family moments with his wife, Nanette, in Sonoma County, California. Traveling alongside their small dog, Pendergrast, they explore the Western United States. Additionally, his musical passion shines as he plays his 1962 Fender P Bass in a local blues band.
In essence, James Bucheister's expertise, ethical dedication, and commitment to knowledge dissemination underscore his influential role at NCAM Wealth Advisors and within the financial landscape.
